| Rummage Sale Twice a year St. James has a rummage sale that both benefits the local community and helps to fight hungry world-wide. All the proceeds are given away to either the local food pantry or to the ELCA World Hunger Appeal. Also the prices of the items for sale make shopping for those in need very affordable.

Community Meal
St. James provides a community meal the 4th Thursday of every other month. Volunteers are prepare the meals in the early afternoon or to help serve the meals and clean up afterwards.

| Cluster Outreach Center
The Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities (PCRC) has been providing various forms of assistance to people in need in the Greater Pottstown Area for over 30 years through their Cluster Outreach Center. Members of St. James support the Cluster through a special offering as well as providing donations of food, clothing and other household items year round. |

| Miller-Keystone Blood
Drive
St. James hosts a blood drive 3-4 times a year through Miller-Keystone. Members are encouraged to give blood or to help with set-up, clean-up and administration of the blood drive. |

| Salvation Army
St. James provides lunch on the second Wednesday of each month. Members come out and put their culinary skills to work or help serve and clean up after the meals. Third Sunday Offering Each month a special outreach offering is collected to help support a local, national, or international organization that works to provide for the needs of others or helps to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus. Recipients of these offerings in the past have included in organizations such as the Visiting Nurse Association, The Cluster Outreach Center, Manatawny Manor, The Salvation Army, ELCA World Hunger Appeal, and Lutheran World Relief. |
