Chancel Choir
The St. James Chancel Choir is open to all who love sacred music from all styles. New members are always welcome. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 pm. First rehearsal is on Thursday, September 10.
Handbell Choir
The St. James Handbell Choir is open to all who love sacred music and the challenge of ringing handbells. New members are always welcomed. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays at 6:15 pm. First rehearsal is Thursday, September 10 with music now available on the organ for marking.
First Sunday Choir
The First Sunday Choir is designed for those individuals who would like to sing on an occasional basis. The music is designated to be read quickly. Rehearsal is normally on the first Sunday of the month and at 7:30 p.m. on the Thursday prior. The first rehearsal will be on Thursday, September 10 and the choir will sing on Sunday, September 13. (Yes, that is the second Sunday, but it is our first Sunday back from our restful summers). Future Thursday rehearsal dates are October 1, October 29, and December 3. All are welcome!!
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir is a new choral opportunity at St. James. The Choir is open to youth third grade and up. Music will be contemporary. Individuals are invited to bring instruments also. Rehearsals will be held Sunday mornings from 10-10:30 am. The Choir will provide music on the fourth Sunday at the 10:45 worship every month. All are welcome!
