Adult Sunday School Classes
Teach, lead or participate in the adult classes on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. One class meets in the Blue Room. Various discussion topics are led by members of the class. The other class meets in the downstairs Adult Study Classroom with several class participants planning and leading a bible study on the lectionary lessons. Classes run from September to June.

G.I.F.T. (Growing In Faith Together)
G.I.F.T. is an educational ministry for children Preschool - Grade 6, allowing them to worship God in age appropriate ways. Children begin their worship experience in community with the entire church family, and then during the announcements, depart to Horn Hall with a teacher and a helper. During this time the children will hear a bible reading and lesson and do a craft or coloring page, a game or sing-a-long connecting with the message. Children return to worship at the time of Peace.

Confirmation
This is a ministry open to youth in grade 7 and above, which prepares them for Confirmation - the time when they affirm the vows their parents and sponsors made when they were baptized. The 2-year program that meets on Sunday nights, 5:30-7:30 pm. Dinner is included. Held September - May in collaboration with other local churches..

Adult Vacation Bible School
Adult Vacation Bible School (VBS) is held for one summer week in collaboration with Grace Lutheran and is open to adults of all ages. The program is held in the morning from 9:00am - 10:30am at St. James and includes opening devotions, a bible study, games, crafts, music. Held in June.

Children Vacation Bible School
Children Vacation Bible School (VBS) is held for one summer week in collaboration with Grace Lutheran and is open to children 3 yrs to 6th grade. The program is held in the evenings from 6:15pm - 8:30pm at Grace Lutheran and includes opening devotions, a bible study, games, crafts, music. Meal provided 5:30- 6:15 pm. Held in June.
