Balance

Some years ago, I rescued geraniums out of a dumpster and planted them. They thrived and grew for 6 years! But this past fall, as temperatures fluctuated and life got busy, I forgot to bring them inside. At the same time, I largely ignore my favorite flower – the iris – and it grows and multiplies anyway. There is a balance to life. Is it too early to dream about spring?
