Just Breathe...

When things have been really tough in life, my best friend, Lynn, has always been there to remind me: "Breathe." Not the typical, shallow, "get by" breath. But deeply in and deeply out. The last two reminders came through video chats. So now I pass the familiar tip to you --- Breathe in deeply. Exhale deeply. Repeat three times! It can clear your head, at least temporarily lower your blood pressure and help get you ready for whatever the next hour brings. Before Jesus left this earth he greeted the disciples, "Peace be with you." Then he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit." The Spirit gives us faith, comfort and advocates for us. Breathe!
