Keep celebrating the good!

Birthdays have certainly been different the past weeks. First my Mom. An organized Zoom. She wore the hat we sent, had the cake in front of her and had already opened most presents. (Our family has a habit of doing that!) Every child, grandchild and great grandchild was part of the celebration. I was part of a "parade" for one young man's birthday. What fun, just to lay eyes on his smile, his sister and parents. I didn't worry about my car being the lamest in terms of decorations. I was glad to honor him. Next came the birthday of my youngest son. Only two cars – but decorated to the max. Mardi Gras beads flying out the window – a card with a check enclosed flying out another. For my brother's birthday, many of us logged on and did a quick video – they will be compiled into a virtual hug! Keep celebrating, however you can! "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)
